Semuliki Park.
This is an extension of the vast Ituri forest continuum and it is siuated at the remote corner of the exreme west of Uganda in Bundibugyo district and borders DRC. It is 300 km or 4-5 hrs drive from Kampala via Fort-portal and Mubende.
Activities: Primate and scenery viewing, hot springs, and bird watching. The park can be reached by road either via Mubende or Mbarara.
Accommodation: Budget lodging near by Bundibugyo.

TOURIST guides from East Africa are to form an umbrella body, the chairman of the Uganda Safari Guides Association said over the weekend.
Herbert Byaruhanga said that tourist guides from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda were in the process of forming the “Federation of East African Tourist Guides Association.”
